White Hall Of The Polytechnic University

The very heart of the Polytechnic University – the amazingly beautiful White Hall – is one of the best university ceremonial halls of St. Petersburg at the beginning of the 20th century and now strikes with its splendor, perfection of architectural forms and unique acoustics.

For more than 115 years, it has played an important role in the development of the university and the city – its walls combine literature and music with scientific and technical thought. Muses of art inspire and help develop the creative abilities of future engineers and inventors as an important component of classical Russian engineering education.

The White Hall carries out creative projects in the field of musical and theatrical art, concert philharmonic and educational programs aimed at a wide youth audience of higher, secondary and vocational education.
