Grand Layout Russia is a colossal acting layout that artistically conveys the image of Russia. Its area is 800 square meters, which today makes it the largest second in the world and the largest in Russia.
Collective images of various cities and regions are transferred to the mock field, and virtually all types of human activity are displayed in genre scenes. Every fifteen minutes from east to west, a night approaches over the layout, to simulate which almost 800,000 LEDs are used.
More than 200 trains pass along sophisticated routes with a total length of almost two and a half thousand meters; Automobile traffic is also “open”, using for the first time in the world in layout engineering electromagnetic induction as a power source for cars. Dozens of different cars move along the layout, while the headlights, brake lights and turning lights that they turn on add brightness to the exposure and illuminate roads at night.
